Meet Stella

My vision is to support women to feel stronger and build confidence in their bodies so they can restore movement freedom and reclaim joy in their life!

Beach lover, boy mum, strength enthusiast and peaceful life seeker

Growing up I loved PE in school! Although I was shy and found team sports pretty intimidating, moving my body came naturally to me. It was where I found a bit of my own confidence. When I became a teenager I suddenly felt body conscious and not good enough. It was like a switch being flipped. I picked up restrictive habits with food and movement was no longer the same source of joy.

It wasn’t until I finished university in 2005, that I started my own fitness journey. I felt out of shape and wanted to restore my body confidence. I got hooked on fitness classes! I started resistance training in 2007 alongside bootcamps, horse riding, tae-kwondo, yoga and running. I loved the feeling of pushing myself always determined to get leaner. I became obsessed with fitness and nutrition. It was a pretty destructive and unfulfilling path until I found CrossFit in 2012. It was the first time I got to experience fitness for building skills, strength and power. Forever changing my fitness motivation and self esteem for the better.

I trained as a pre and post natal personal trainer after the birth of my son in 2017. This was where I started along my own pathway specialising in women’s fitness needs. By 2020 I had lost my love for CrossFit and shifted my focus to strength training once again. But I was still looking for movement that was varied and skill focused. I also had a collection of long term injuries and niggles that were limiting me.

In 2021 I deepened my movement education by embarking on a truly unique mentorship that focused on biomechanics with women’s bodies in mind. I learned more about athletic movement and how alongside strength, it is key to rebuilding trust and feeling powerful. Especially for women who want to thrive and feel good in their bodies! I found a more connected approach to restoring my own movement limitations and reclaimed my love for training.
